Commissioner Facundo Juárez, head of the Delfín Gallo Police Station, talked about a recent raid conducted in a home in the El Privado neighborhood, where narcotic substances were discovered. The operation was authorized by the College of Judges and involved the participation of the Infantry and Motorized Patrol Personnel of the jurisdiction.
According to Juárez, during the search, a plastic bag was found in the ceiling containing pieces of glossy paper, which raised suspicions about illegal substances. The Anti-Drug Unit was informed and ordered field tests to confirm the nature of the findings.
An individual known as "Tortuga" was identified as a suspected drug dealer in the area, based on reports from neighbors. Additionally, three other people found in the house were detained while their backgrounds were verified.
The analysis conducted by the Dangerous Drugs Direction confirmed that it was cocaine base paste. During the search for firearms, a considerable amount of money was found, presumably obtained from the sale of illegal substances at retail.
Following judicial directives, a man was arrested for violating the Narcotic Drugs and Drug Trafficking Law. Commissioner Juárez concluded this operation under the supervision of the head of the Eastern Regional Unit, Commissioner General Daniel Ruiz Luis.
