Nelson Castro Discusses Medical Insights and Politics

Nelson Castro, a recognized journalist, surprised in an interview on La Noche de Mirtha by revealing that, despite having left medicine years ago, his colleagues from El Trece, TN, and Radio Rivadavia constantly ask him for medical consultations. Castro, who is a neurologist, shared that he practiced medicine for 15 years and still keeps up to date in the field.

In the conversation, Castro mentioned everyday situations in which he is consulted: 'If it hurts here, if the head bothers over there… It's been like this all my life.' Additionally, he commented on a recent incident between Santiago Caputo and Facundo Manes during the opening of the Congress sessions, labeling it as 'absolutely inappropriate and violent.' He criticized the exclusive focus on the president at that moment, sidelining the vice president.

During the chat, Nelson Castro also highlighted the moment he decided to leave medicine to fully dedicate himself to journalism, feeling that the latter profession required more time and effort. However, he made it clear that his medical knowledge continues to be constantly sought after by his colleagues in the media, both in radio and television.
