Teenager Stabs His Brother in Los Árboles

A 17-year-old teenager stabbed his 16-year-old brother in the Mendoza locality of Los Árboles after a family argument. According to the family's version to the Police, the altercation was sparked by a dispute over a pair of socks in their home located in the department of Rivadavia.

The discussion between the two brothers quickly escalated into a physical confrontation, culminating in the 17-year-old grabbing a knife and stabbing his 16-year-old brother in the abdomen, causing a five-centimeter wound. After the incident, the victim was rushed to the Medrano hospital and later transferred to Perrupato Hospital, where he received medical attention and underwent various tests.

In light of this situation, the Interdisciplinary Technical Team (ETI) intervened to interview those involved and other family members in order to analyze the situation and establish preventive measures that could avoid future episodes of domestic violence.
