The Comprehensive Medical Assistance Program (PAMI) has launched a campaign promoting the importance of regular medical check-ups. According to the official statement, "the best time to get your medical check-ups is now. A timely check-up makes a difference."
To make an appointment, members need an electronic medical referral from their primary care doctor or specialist. Then, they should look for the provider's details in My Cartilla, available at pami.org.ar/mi-cartilla. The appointment can be requested by the member themselves or a designated trusted person. On the day of the appointment, it is necessary to present the credential and identification document.
PAMI recommends its members to visit the doctor regularly, especially at older ages. The campaign "Start the year by taking care of your health" aims to raise awareness about the importance of undergoing medical check-ups. Once in the system, different types of medical services can be chosen based on need, prioritizing proximity and quality.
Additionally, PAMI provides its members with two telephone numbers for contact: Emergencies (11 6671-2318) and PAMI Listens (138). Getting regular check-ups is essential for physical and mental well-being, and the program aims to encourage this practice among its beneficiaries.
Under the slogan "New year, new check-ups," PAMI invites its members to start the year by protecting their health and promoting personal care. Maintaining good health is crucial for fully enjoying life.
