The Telefe channel surprised its viewers last week with changes to its programming that affected several shows, including the youth series "Margarita," causing discontent among fans. Despite leading the ratings in open TV, the channel chose to temporarily suspend both "Margarita" and "Bake Off Famosos," one of the season's hits.
Cris Morena, the creator of the series "Margarita" and known for previous successes like "Floricienta," had just announced that the show would have a theatrical adaptation at the Movistar Arena. However, the channel decided to take it off the air momentarily, coinciding with the producer's announcement on Susana Giménez's show.
The changes in Telefe's programming are due to the broadcast of the return match between River and Atlético Mineiro in the semifinals of the Copa Libertadores, an event that will be televised by the channel. The match, which begins at 21:15, coincides with the airing time of "Margarita," which led to the suspension of the youth program.
Furthermore, since the match will extend until approximately 23:30, the cooking reality show hosted by Wanda Nara, which usually starts at 22:00, will also be affected and will not air that Tuesday. These moves in Telefe's schedule have created discomfort among fans of the affected programs, who will have to wait to enjoy their favorite content.
