Registration Open for La Matanza Municipal Lifeguard School

The Municipality of La Matanza has announced that registration for its 2026 Municipal Lifeguard School is now open. The school operates as a vocational training center and is governed by the standards of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Education. According to the Argentine News Agency, registrations will be open until Friday, March 6, 2026. The course is completely free and offers official certification. Requirements include a high school diploma, being over 18 years old, presenting a medical certificate, and passing the entrance exam, which includes swimming and physical fitness stages. Additionally, it was indicated that the submission of documentation and review of files will take place on March 6 at 19:00 at the Polideportivo Vicegobernador Alberto Balestrini (Av. Juan Manuel de Rosas 11300, Lomas del Mirador). The official calendar published by the municipality foresees exams in March (swimming on the 16th and 20th, and physical fitness on the 18th) and the start of classes on 03/27/2026.
