Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Highway in Argentina

An emergency landing occurred this afternoon in Argentina when a small plane was forced to land on Provincial Route 56 at kilometer 35 due to a mechanical failure. The pilot, a 51-year-old man, was unharmed. Following the landing, part of the aircraft occupied one of the lanes, causing partial disruption to traffic.

Agents from the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV), who were patrolling the area, quickly assisted the pilot and deployed tasks for signaling and traffic control. This was done to facilitate rescue operations and ensure the safety of other vehicles in the zone.

This intervention is part of the summer operations the agency is conducting at 39 strategic points across the country, including on highways, expressways, and access roads to tourist destinations. In this context, the ANSV reported that 231,962 vehicles have been checked and 5,085 drivers have been sanctioned for various traffic violations.
