The accident took place on Thursday when the victim, Guadalupe, was traveling with a friend in a Subaru Outback. According to Noticias Argentinas, the driver reportedly lost control while trying to swerve to avoid a motorcycle. The vehicle went off the road for about 70 meters and overturned in an area of dense vegetation. The impact ejected one of the occupants from the car, whereas her friend was rescued from inside as she was wearing a seatbelt. The area where the accident occurred has a high volume of traffic at this time of year, and authorities believe that unfamiliarity with the road may have been a contributing factor.
