Multiple cases of drunk driving were recorded in Misiones province. One man caused a public disturbance and attacked police, while another had a blood alcohol level of 3.81 g/l.


Argentina Police Detain Several Drunk Drivers

In Argentina's Misiones province, police detained several drivers for driving under the influence. One of them, a 45-year-old man, caused public disturbances, refused to identify himself, and attempted to assault police officers. His breathalyzer test showed an extremely high alcohol level of 3.81 g/l. In another incident in the city of Eldorado, a Brazilian and an Argentine were involved in a car crash. The Brazilian driver's blood alcohol level was 2.95 g/l, while the Argentine's was 1.02 g/l. During other operations, police also detained three more drivers with high blood alcohol content.

In Salto Encantado, around 6:50 PM, police were called to Avenida 8 de Septiembre after residents reported a man bothering pedestrians and motorists. Upon arrival, officers identified a 45-year-old man, Roberto Adrián M., who was visibly intoxicated. Police attempted to reason with him to prevent him from harming himself, but instead of cooperating, the man began to insult, push, and try to attack the officers. He was subdued, arrested, and taken to the local police station.

In the city of Eldorado, a collision occurred between a Hyundai with Brazilian plates and an Audi. The drivers, Carlos D. R. V. (33) and Cristian Emanuel M. (36), tested positive for alcohol, with results of 2.90 g/l and 1.02 g/l, respectively. Both vehicles were impounded, and the drivers were detained.

During other operations across Misiones province, police also detained three more drivers. In Oberá, at 5:30 AM, a Ford Escort was intercepted for driving erratically. The driver, Diego Fabián S. (50), showed clear signs of intoxication, and a test revealed 2.00 g/l. In San Ignacio, José María L. (21) lost control of his motorcycle, and a subsequent test showed 1.85 g/l. In Posadas, Gabriel C. (29) was causing disturbances and attempting to drive an unregistered motorcycle. His test result was 2.56 g/l.
