A tragic violent incident shocked the town of Melo, in the south of Córdoba, where a 26-year-old young man, identified as Jerónimo Carabajal, lost his life after being stabbed in the street in the early hours of Sunday. According to what Agencia Noticias Argentinas learned, the fatal confrontation occurred after the graduation party of IPEA 237 San Antonio, which was being held at the Italian Society hall. Witnesses recounted that an argument between several people quickly escalated into a brawl that culminated in the fatal attack on Carabajal. The aggressor, a 30-year-old man, immediately fled in a white van. The vehicle was captured in a video that circulated on social media (courtesy of Cadena 3 Córdoba), which facilitated his search. Hours later, the police managed to arrest the suspect. Currently, the authorities are investigating the causes that led to the violent argument and working to fully clarify the tragic fact.
