A body was found on the coast of Santa Cruz. Initially, it was suspected that it could belong to the missing pensioners Pedro Kreder or Juana Morales, who disappeared more than a month ago. However, Héctor Iturrioz, Minister of Security of Chubut, confirmed to the Argentine News Agency that it is not either of the elderly people who went missing on October 11.
The discovery occurred on Thursday when authorities were notified of a body found on the coast of Santa Cruz. As a result, doubts arose that it might be one of the pensioners missing from Comodoro Rivadavia. Likewise, according to information from NA, the corresponding studies were carried out, and it was determined that it was a "person who had been missing for almost a month in Cabo Domingo, Tierra del Fuego".
It was reported that the body was identified as Sergio Gabriel Schlieter Barria, a 32-year-old man whom his family had been searching for since November 1. Regarding Pedro and Juana, the minister stated that the search operations, despite the time that has passed, continue with several teams working in various areas.
