Argentinian musician Elian “L-Gante” Valenzuela was detained during a police control in General Rodríguez. He was arrested as he is currently disqualified from driving and allegedly presented a fake driver's license.

In a conversation with the Argentine News Agency, Leonardo Sigal, the musician's lawyer who had previously filed a complaint against him, shared the disqualification report from the Buenos Aires Aires Public Prosecutor's Office. The report states that he was detained on Friday, November 7, during a police control in General Rodríguez after presenting a driver's license issued by the Municipality of San Fernando.

The same document confirms that "the aforementioned citizen is disqualified from driving" and that Valenzuela "allegedly presented a presumably apocryphal driver's license." It also notes that "the measure is still in effect because Mr. Valenzuela did not appear at the corresponding License Issuance Center for his domicile."

Furthermore, the media personality has a provisional suspension of his driver's license recorded in the Provincial Antecedents System, "as requested by the National Road Safety Agency," the same report stated, adding that the measure is in effect "until further notice."

According to the ministry, Valenzuela "must undergo a new psychophysical assessment to determine his current capacity for safe driving, and can only be reinstated if found fit."
