Buenos Aires, November 16 (NA) — A painful tragedy shook this weekend the locality of Ordóñez, in the Unión department, following the death of a four-year-old child in a fire. The minor was playing in the back of a Mercedes-Benz truck when the vehicle suddenly and violently caught fire. According to the Argentine News Agency from the preliminary report of the Córdoba Police, the fire would have started due to a gas canister that exploded in the truck's sleeper cabin, causing a fatal disaster. Neighbors and family members were deeply distressed by the incident, which occurred on Saturday night. Despite the rapid intervention of police and emergency services, it was not possible to rescue the child in time, who died as a result of the flames. The Justice has already initiated an investigation to determine the exact causes of the fire, seeking to clarify how the fire broke out inside the vehicle and if there were any responsibilities in this tragic outcome.
