Hotel Polaroid has released their new album, "Plástico Raíz," composed of 10 original songs. Each track has its own identity but is designed as part of a conceptual journey. The album functions as an emotional and sonic voyage, where each piece contributes to a larger narrative without fear of sincerity or vulnerability.
From its conception, "Plástico Raíz" started with the most elemental format—guitar and voice—and, under the artistic production of Rodrigo Genni, expanded into a vast rhythmic and melodic universe. The vocals are placed upfront, clear and prominent, always carrying the word as the central vehicle for communication.
Hotel Polaroid is an Argentine musical group founded and led by Emiliano Yellati in 2022. With the release of their debut self-titled LP, the project marks the beginning of a new stage after several years of solo work, during which Yellati composed and produced various albums under his own name.
For the debut LP, the current band producer and drummer, Rodrigo Genni González, along with Diego Goldszein, Manuel Álvarez, Bruno Delucchi, and David Fernández—musicians specially summoned for the recording—participated. As the project grew and live presentations began, new members joined: Mailén Torrent (acoustic guitar and vocals), Nicolás Camarero (guitar, synthesizers, and vocals), and Santiago Jaritonoff (keyboards), all of whom are now stable members of the formation.
Drums and bass support the moods with expressive silences, while electric guitars, vintage keyboards, and modern synthesizers coexist to build a rich, fluid, and emotional atmosphere.
