“Yo, Narciso”: New Comedy by Adrián Suar and Natalia Oreiro

Rocío, a university sociology professor, is writing a book on modern narcissism. To better understand her 'subject', she decides to study him from within and chooses Máximo Rey (Adrián Suar), a charismatic plastic surgeon, as her case. Under a false identity, Rocío pretends to be a patient interested in a rhinoplasty, trying to observe and analyze Máximo without being discovered. When Máximo falls in love with her, 'the experiment' gets out of control. Rocío, determined to maintain the bond without falling for his game, invents increasingly absurd excuses to keep him at bay. The film satirizes the obsession with image, the male ego, and the limits of desire. After the success of '30 Nights with My Ex' and 'Mazel Tov', this new film by Adrián Suar offers an ironic and heartfelt look at narcissism—that reflection that dominates relationships, social networks, and the way we present and love ourselves. The film exposes with humor and lucidity the challenge of connecting in an era where we all want to be seen, admired, and validated, inviting us to laugh and reflect.
