It will be difficult to survive the departure of an iconic host like Beto Casella from Bendita TV, especially since Casella was the only host of the show for its 20 seasons. However, Channel 9 is going to give it a try and has chosen Edith Hermida, the panelist with the most time on the show and the second-longest-serving member after the host. According to entertainment journalist Luca Melpi on his social media X, Edith is confirmed as the host for the next season, but her co-host has not yet been chosen. Names circulating in the corridors include Mariano Peluffo, 'El Pelado' López, and José María Listorti, Melpi details in his post. Peluffo is a versatile host for the channel, having fronted several shows like 'Qué Mañana' or 'La Cocina del 9'. 'El Pelado' López has already tried his luck on broadcast TV with little success, and José María is looking to relaunch his career away from Marcelo Hugo Tinelli, and returning to hosting could be a good test. But, I'm told from inside, that Channel 9 does not rule out finding a co-host for her so they can host as a duo. 'Edith Hermida will stay hosting the new Bendita.'
