Journalist Germán Béder, known for his participation in the program 'Paren la mano' (Vorterix), spoke about his popular reputation as a 'shy' person, despite working in front of the camera for years. In an interview with Patricio Barton on Splendid 990's show 'Qué importa', Beder opened up about his past romantic relationships and admitted he could never be the one to initiate romantic acts, instead it was always the other person who did. 'I consider myself shy, especially in the conquest, and I struggle with sociability. But at the same time, I've made the big decisions in my life,' the journalist said, referring to his role as a father, the publication of his book, and his current work in radio. 'I find it hard to build a connection,' he added. Along the same lines, the journalist explained that his shyness led him to never be the one to initiate a kiss: 'I always tell the anecdote that I never could kiss, I was always kissed. It was very hard for me to make the move, and it was so uncomfortable for everyone watching, that the woman would kiss me.' Previously, in his chat space, he felt strong, as if that's where he won, saying, 'Well, this little guy has something.' But he was always very insecure about aesthetics and many things, and it cost him. 'It cost me my whole life.' As he became a recognized public figure, many men who went through the same situations as him approached Béder, finding refuge in his experiences. 'I always had women who were girlfriends, long-term processes,' he revealed. In turn, he revealed that his strength was not the physical acts, but the lead-up to the encounter: 'There is a point where I consider myself strong, and that is the written word. I also didn't kiss so many women.' This led him to create a section on his stream to connect and 'help' his audience: 'I do a love advice column, and I answer from the perspective of a total Virgo what I would do in a possible conquest situation or something.
