Abril Romero Miranda, a 17-year-old teenager, has been missing for almost two months after allegedly leaving with a 32-year-old man. They lived together for two months, and her family filed a complaint against him for gender-based violence. The young woman lived in the locality of General Rodríguez, Buenos Aires province, but raids were carried out in Salta province because the man accompanying her is from that province. Abril was last seen on September 18, before leaving her home, and only left a note for her mother, Jorgelina Miranda, stating that she was leaving with 'the love of her life,' Cristian Esteban Velazco, who told her he was 25 years old. In an interview with the Argentine News Agency, Jorgelina explained that law enforcement verified one of the addresses of a relative of Velazco: 'They conducted a raid in Tartagal, Salta, at Cristian's uncle's house, but they are not there.' Miranda is also awaiting some form of contact or news about her daughter's whereabouts: 'Honestly, it's a mystery, and I'm waiting for them to call me after the raid.' Previously, in television statements, the woman stated that Cristian and Abril 'lived together for two months,' however, the minor's family found out that 'he hit her,' they filed the complaint, and the teenager returned to live with her mother. 'On the 18th, she left me a note saying she was leaving with the love of her life and not to look for her.'
