While most jurisdictions will end before Christmas, some will extend almost until the end of the year. The Ministry of Education has confirmed that a WhatsApp message is legally equivalent to a telegram or a certified letter.

December: Monday, December 8: Inamovable holiday (Immaculate Conception of Mary). Thursday, December 25: Inamovable holiday (Christmas). Long weekend: From Saturday, December 6, to Monday, December 8.
