The highly anticipated wedding between Tini Stoessel and Rodrigo De Paul has been put on hold. The couple has decided to postpone their wedding, which was set for December 20, 2025, to the following year.
«What's going on with Tini Stoessel's wedding?» asked panelist Santiago Sposato on the show 'Infama', setting off a true media bombshell.
«When it became public that she was getting married on December 20, the calls started because that's the date when footballers begin their vacations,» Sposato explained, alluding to the stir the announcement caused among family and friends.
However, the journalist clarified that the event was not canceled, merely postponed: «Rest assured, it won't be this year.»
One of the journalists, Laura Ubfal, explained the reason for the postponement: «If she marries him, since Rodrigo is under contract with Inter, she can get residency there». She added that this could be one of the motives behind the postponement, as a marriage in North America would simplify the residency process and allow the couple to settle in the country where De Paul will spend much of the year.
«The idea is for it to be in December 2026,» she assured, revealing that the decision was made by mutual agreement between the couple.
Another panelist, Karina Iavícoli, contributed a detail that sparked curiosity: «I was told that it's going to be a party, not a wedding. She has a work visa, and what's best for them is to get married in the United States. That they are not going to get married formally. It would be without papers, like a big celebration».
The possibility that it is a symbolic celebration and not a legal union raises new questions about the future of the romance between the artist and the footballer.
In turn, Marcela Tauro asked if De Paul had already finalized his divorce from Camila Homs, and Laura Ubfal responded firmly: «Yes, everything is already settled.» To which Tauro retorted with a laugh: «Then, let them get married!».
