Just days before the Streaming Martín Fierro Awards ceremony, Mario Pergolini made it clear that he will not be part of the event and has no intention of participating in future editions. True to his direct style, the host spoke on 'Intrusos' and surprised with his response when asked about the ceremony organized by APTRA alongside Olga y Telefe. 'I didn't know, I don't know what you're talking about,' he replied with irony when asked about the nominees. Pergolini, who has been critical of television awards for years, once again emphasized his distance from this type of event: 'Why would they do that? In a channel, one person does it,' he commented, referring to the award criteria. When asked if he would attend the gala, the former CQC host was blunt: 'It's like the Martín Fierro, and I've never been to one either. I've only been once in my life.' In this way, the businessman reaffirmed his position of staying away from the awards, even when his productions are among the most outstanding. Amid the media controversy between Migue Granados and Nico Occhiato, who crossed paths over the organization and nomination criteria, Pergolini chose not to get involved, although he left a comment that caused a stir: 'They have been fighting for a long time and that's fine. It's their moment and they have to make their statements, it's their fights.' Finally, he made it clear that he is not interested in being part of that climate of competition or controversy: 'It's something totally foreign to me,' he concluded, distancing himself from both the awards and the clash between the streaming industry's key figures.
