During their honeymoon in Mexico, Eddie discovers that Lila is a completely different person than he thought he knew: she is rude, selfish, and has very strange habits. In this context, Eddie meets Miranda (Michelle Monaghan), a charming and simple woman who is on vacation with her family. From that moment on, Eddie desperately tries to get rid of his marriage to Lila to have a chance with Miranda, which leads him to increasingly comedic and complicated situations.
