The actress and singer Juana Molina shared an emotional farewell message for Antonio Gasalla, lamenting not having the opportunity to reconcile before his passing. In her reflections, Molina recalled how pride kept them apart and thanked Gasalla for having supported her in her career.
"How proud we are and the things we miss because of that," expressed Molina. The actress also remembered Gasalla's attitude towards her on stage, mentioning that he gave her freedom and made her perform better.
According to Molina, the break in her relationship with Gasalla occurred in 1990 when she announced that she would have her own show the following year. From that moment, her participation in Gasalla's projects diminished, and she was eventually excluded from a play led by him.
Despite attempts to reach out to Gasalla on later occasions, Molina faced rejections from the comedian. However, decades later, she discovered a note from Gasalla dated 2013 in which he expressed his affection for her, which deeply moved her.
The actress recalled moments of friendship and collaboration with Gasalla, highlighting his generosity and support in her artistic journey. Despite the misunderstandings and distance between them, Molina expressed her gratitude towards Gasalla and regretted not having the opportunity to clarify their differences before his passing.
