
The Day of Remembrance for Truth and Justice is commemorated in honor of the victims of the last military dictatorship. The Argentine government has officially announced the holiday calendar for the year 2025 through Decree 1027/2024, establishing a total of 12 holidays, providing various opportunities to enjoy breaks throughout the year.
Among the unmovable holidays are dates such as New Year's Day, Carnival, National Day of Remembrance for Truth and Justice, Veterans' Day and the Fallen in the Malvinas War, Good Friday, among others. In addition, holidays have been designated for tourism purposes and non-working days in the calendar.
The Government of the province of Buenos Aires has declared a new local holiday for Monday, March 10 in one of its municipalities, Curarú, in Carlos Tejedor. This day celebrates the 115th founding anniversary of the locality, giving residents an extra day off and the opportunity to commemorate the history and founding of the place.
On March 10, the Curarú community will be able to enjoy the festivities and participate in various activities organized by the municipality. The next holiday in Argentina will be Monday, March 24, thus creating a new long weekend for the inhabitants of the country.
