The streaming platform Blender has expanded its catalog of cultural content with the introduction of Entre Libros, a new series hosted by actor and writer Gonzalo Heredia. This project aims to merge literature with new digital narratives, thereby consolidating the platform's expansion in the cultural sphere.
Aimed at bringing contemporary Argentine literature to a wider audience, Entre Libros premiered last Wednesday, January 22, at 10 PM on Blender's YouTube channel and will have weekly broadcasts. The program features intimate interviews with prominent authors of national literature.
The first episodes included the participation of Mariana Enriquez and Samantha Schweblin, and figures like Leila Guerriero, Pedro Mairal, and Fabián Casas, along with emerging voices such as Magalí Etchevarne and Rafa Otegui, are expected to appear. Entre Libros adopts a relaxed and humorous tone to explore not only the work of the writers but also their emotions and personal connections to literature.
In the program's presentation, Gonzalo Heredia stated: “We want to desensitize and demystify reading. Literature is everywhere, and you don’t need to be an expert to enjoy it. Entre Libros seeks to demonstrate that reading is a human and everyday experience.”
This initiative adds to other cultural activities developed by Blender in recent years, such as its participation in the Book Fair and the Independent Publishers Fair, as well as the opening of its library in 2024.
