The competition between Canal 13 and Telefe has been unequal, mainly from Monday to Friday, with a lead for the sports channel. Therefore, El Trece has decided to make changes to its programming in an attempt to reduce the gap with its direct competitor.
One of the most notable changes is the introduction of "El Encargado," the series starring Guillermo Francella, at 21:30. Additionally, "Los 8 Escalones," hosted by Guido Kaczka, has been scheduled to move to the afternoon slot. These changes will take effect starting Monday, February 3.
In the words of a Canal 13 representative: "We are betting big with these changes. We believe that with the quality of our content and this schedule restructuring, we can offer a more even and attractive competition for our audience."
The new programming schedule for Canal 13 will be as follows starting that Monday: at 18:30, "Los 8 Escalones" will air, followed by "Telenoche" at 20:00. At 21:30, viewers can enjoy "El Encargado," followed by "The Floor, la conquista" at 22:00, and at 23:30, "La Noche Perfecta" will be broadcasted.
With these changes, Canal 13 seeks to position its content and attract more viewers in such a competitive time slot as Monday to Friday.
