The National Meteorological Service (SMN) renewed alerts for strong winds in several areas of the country this Tuesday. A yellow alert was issued for areas in the province of Buenos Aires, specifically along the entire coast. According to the agency's report, north winds of 25 to 40 km/h are expected, with gusts that could exceed 60 km/h in the affected areas.
In case of a yellow alert for strong winds, the SMN provides some recommendations to the public. These include avoiding outdoor activities, securing objects that could be blown away by the wind, staying informed through the relevant authorities, and having an emergency backpack ready, equipped with a flashlight, radio, important documents, and a phone.
Adverse weather conditions can affect the normal progression of daily activities, so it's important to stay alert to updates from weather forecasts and follow the guidance of competent authorities to prevent possible incidents.
