Business Confidence in Argentina Rises

According to a survey conducted with 352 business owners, it was revealed that only 33% believe that the profitability of their companies will increase in the coming months. In contrast, 36% consider that the Argentine economy has shown improvement compared to the previous year.

When asked about the main current business problems, 25% of respondents mentioned higher costs (energy, raw materials, salaries), followed by 24% who pointed out economic uncertainty and 19% who highlighted difficulties in finding, hiring, retaining, and training staff. Another 14% mentioned financial issues, while the remaining 14% referred to company growth.

The report indicated that the belief that profitability will remain the same in the coming months has increased compared to the previous quarter, as well as the perception that the Argentine economy is worsening has declined. Meanwhile, 48% of surveyed business owners expressed confidence that the total number of employees in their companies will increase in the next year.

A relevant fact is that 80% of surveyed business owners foresee an improvement in the Argentine economy in the next 12 months. Additionally, nearly half of the participants plan to increase investment in fixed assets heading into 2025, reflecting a positive trend regarding investment projections in the business market.

In summary, despite the perception that business profitability may not increase significantly, there is widespread confidence that both the Argentine economy and the number of employees in companies will improve in the next year.
