More than 400 doctors from across the country registered to join the healthcare system of Río Negro, following the call issued by the provincial government the previous week. Governor Alberto Weretilnek confirmed their commitment to strengthening the public healthcare system to ensure that every resident of Río Negro has access to the care they deserve, and this great interest in the call demonstrates that it is a chosen destination to work and make a difference.

The provincial Health Minister, Demetrio Thalasselis, emphasized that the call is successful, highlighting that Río Negro offers working and living conditions not found in other parts of the country. The national call was aimed at doctors from various specialties to fill vacancies in hospitals throughout the province, offering competitive salaries in the country.

The Río Negro government extended the call to clinical doctors, pediatricians, general surgeons, and gynecologists-obstetricians. The final salary exceeds 3,500,000 pesos and includes the base salary, guard payments, and an additional 350,000 for rent. The purpose of the call is to reinforce care throughout the province, assigning professionals according to vacancies in hospitals and local health centers, without being limited to a particular region.
