Negotiations Continue Between APLA and Aerolíneas Argentinas

The Association of Airline Pilots (APLA) reported on ongoing negotiations with Aerolíneas Argentinas regarding the salary restructuring of its employees. In an official statement, APLA announced that discussions will continue late into the night, with the possibility of reaching an agreement that will then be submitted to urgent assemblies for approval.

The meetings that took place between airline authorities and representatives of APLA, the Aeronautical Personnel Association (APA), and the Argentine Association of Aeronauts (AAA) during the early hours of Wednesday resulted in the signing of a pre-agreement. Although there is no official communication regarding this, information has been leaked about an economic and labor understanding that still needs to be approved by the APLA assembly.

The negotiations also included pre-agreements with crew members and ramp staff, reflecting advanced progress in the talks. After an extensive meeting that ended at 4:15 AM, APLA continues in the negotiation process with Aerolíneas Argentinas, maintaining the confidentiality of the content of the agreements until they are officially announced.

In a call to maintain discretion about the details of the agreement, APLA urged not to give excessive media attention in order to avoid unwanted political or communication impacts. In a tone of unity and solidarity, the association emphasized the importance of working collectively to resolve legitimate conflicts and reach beneficial agreements for both parties.
