The first Congress on Argentina took place at the Trump International Beach Resort in Florida, United States. It featured the participation of prominent figures in politics, energy, mining, technology, and economics. Among them were economist Esteban Domecq, analyst Claudio Zuchovicki, public opinion consultant Jorge Giacobbe, energy specialist Javier Iguacel, mining consultant Alejandra Cardona, and in technology, Gastón Taratuta and Matías Dajcz from Ripio, among others.
At the event, Domecq proposed an adjustment in the exchange rate without impacting macroeconomic variables, while Zuchovicki warned about the risks of a possible inflationary spiral. On the other hand, representatives from Argentina, such as the consul in Miami Marcelo Gilardoni and officials from Catamarca and Córdoba, highlighted opportunities in mining and tourism. In addition, entrepreneurs like Ariel Capone from Globant and Gustavo Holstein from Orbital emphasized the interest of Argentine technology companies in expanding globally.
The main objective of the congress was to explore Argentina's political, economic, and social potential, as well as to promote the generation of ties for future investments. This event reflected the country's strategy to change social expectations and attract investors at a time when its policies and business opportunities are generating interest both locally and internationally.
