New ANSES bonus of $117,000

The National Administration of Social Security (ANSES) announced the payment of a new bonus for beneficiaries of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and the Unique System of Family Allowances (SUAF), who have not completed the corresponding procedure. This extraordinary bonus will be $117,000 and will be credited during the month of October.

The amount of this bonus was determined after a 4.2% increase in the benefits based on the mobility formula, depending on the inflation recorded in August. Beneficiaries will have until December 31 to complete the procedure and be able to receive the bonus, which is intended for families with dependents aged from 45 days to 17 years.

Regarding the payment process, once the necessary procedure is completed, beneficiaries will be able to receive the payment starting from 60 days after their registration. It is important to mention that this bonus is a complementary support given once a year to help families receiving AUH and SUAF.

On the other hand, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for August, which had an increase of 4.2% month-over-month and 236.7% year-over-year, also determined the increase in pensions, retirements, and social benefits for the current month. ANSES has established this annual bonus as an additional economic aid for families in vulnerable situations who need extra support to cover their daily expenses.
