According to measurements made by various consulting firms, inflation in Argentina could close October below 3%, marking its lowest level in the last three years. Currently, the measurement of food and beverages conducted by LCG shows an increase of 2% so far this month, lower than the 2.3% recorded by INDEC in September.
With 9 days left in the month, estimates from different consulting firms suggest that October's inflation will remain below 3%. Economist Alberto Cavallo, based on measurements from PriceStats, mentions that monthly inflation has decreased in Argentina, reaching 2.36% by October 20.
This reduction in monthly inflation coincides with the downward trend observed in recent months, reflecting a slowdown in price increases. It is noteworthy that this data is encouraging in a challenging economic context for the country.
