ANSES announces new pension and retirement amounts

The National Administration of Social Security (ANSES) reported that, starting in November 2024, the minimum pension will rise to $252,798.48, while the maximum will reach $1,701,094.47. This increase of 3.47% is based on the variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for September, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC).

In addition, the reissue of the bonus of up to $70,000 for retirees and pensioners is expected, as without this extraordinary supplement, the base income would be below the poverty line. The measure will affect more than 5 million beneficiaries and will be a requirement to access the bonus.

Starting in November 2024, the Universal Basic Benefit (PBU) and the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) will be $115,643.76 and $202,238.78 respectively. On the other hand, the amounts of Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC) will also increase.
