Argentina is once again holding a commercial tour of great importance for the national economy and its global outreach, as the 'Argentine Beef Week' in the United States has been officially launched to boost exports. According to the Argentine News Agency, the meeting was led by the General Secretary of the Presidency, Karina Milei, along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pablo Quirno. Also participating were the CEO of PromArgentina, Diego Sucalesca; the Undersecretary of Agri-food Markets and International Insertion of the Nation, Agustín Tejeda; and the president of the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute (IPCVA), Georges Breitschmitt. At the event, held at the Government House, the Argentine Beef Week in the United States was announced, with the aim of boosting exports and strengthening the presence of Argentine beef in one of the world's most competitive markets. Argentine exporting companies will participate directly, connecting with strategic buyers in one of the most demanding markets in the world. The Argentine Beef Week is taking place at a favorable time for the sector, following the authorization of an additional 80,000 tons in the export quota to the United States, a measure that opens up new opportunities to expand Argentina's presence in that market. Finally, the initiative, driven by PromArgentina along with the IPCVA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Secretariat of Agriculture, and the Argentine Embassy in the United States, is part of an international promotion strategy aimed at positioning the country as a reliable supplier of high-quality food and creating new business opportunities for the export sector. Some key points on the agenda will include business rounds, sectoral meetings, and positioning actions aimed at consolidating the international reputation of Argentine beef as a premium product. The meeting in the United States will be strategically important for international commercial promotion, as it will be the first time PromArgentina organizes a business round abroad. That is why the meeting was described as a 'strategic commercial mission.' The main guidelines of the mission, designed by the General Secretariat of the Presidency and by PromArgentina - the Argentine Agency for the Promotion of Investments and International Trade - were presented. This week will take place from April 27 to May 1 of this year in three strategic cities of the US market: Philadelphia, Chicago, and Los Angeles. The meeting took place at the Casa Rosada.
