The Argentine government has approved the 2026 budget for the state-owned insurance company Nación Seguros, projecting a financial surplus of nearly 98.8 billion pesos. The budget was formally established through the corresponding resolution.

The Government formally approved the 2026 budget for Nación Seguros Sociedad Anónima, foreseeing a financial surplus of $98.858 million for the current fiscal year. The budgetary approval for the insurance company, part of the financial group led by Banco Nación, was formalized through Resolution 127/2026 published this Thursday in the Official Bulletin and analyzed by the Argentine News Agency. The company's projected operating income amounts to $805.499 million, while operating expenses are expected to reach $670.685 million, resulting in an estimated operating profit of $134.814 million. At the same time, the approved budget establishes current revenues of $824.349 million and current expenditures of $721.036 million, with a planned saving of $103.313 million. In parallel, capital resources amount to $982.156 million against capital expenditures of $5.436 million. Based on the aforementioned calculations, which received the approval of the National Budget Office of the Ministry of Finance, it is estimated that the financial result for the current year will be a surplus of $98.858 million. The budget approval, signed by the head of the Ministry of Economy, Luis Caputo, is framed in accordance with Law 24.156, which regulates the budgetary regime of public companies.
