The Argentine Confederation of Hydrocarbon Trade Entities and Related Industries (CECHA) announced the operating hours for gas stations during Christmas and New Year. The stations will operate on a reduced schedule during the nights of December 24-25 and December 31 to January 1. CECHA clarified that during these festive periods, an “active guard service” will be available to exclusively assist essential and emergency vehicles, such as ambulances, firefighters, police, and other public assistance agencies. According to most sector collective agreements, the stations will not serve the general public between 22:00 and 06:00 on these dates. CECHA recommends that drivers and users plan ahead and refuel before 22:00 to ensure their mobility and avoid inconvenience during the holidays.
