The Government of Córdoba announced that provincial retirees and pensioners will receive their mid-year bonus on December 22 and their monthly pension on December 30. It is reported that with December salaries, passive income will average 1,712,862 pesos, which, according to authorities, exceeds the national average of around 600,000 pesos. Additionally, next Monday, December 15, a extraordinary bi-monthly bonus of 100,000 pesos will be paid to those earning up to 1,300,000 pesos. With this reinforcement, the minimum provincial pension will reach 800,000 pesos in December. Provincial authorities stated that the measures aim to boost incomes before the holidays and mitigate the impact of inflation on the most vulnerable sectors of the pension system. The Córdoba Government affirmed that this is a financial effort by the province to support retirees while awaiting a national economic recovery that will allow for improved income for all citizens.
