Argentina experienced a significant tourism boost during the four-day extended weekend, which was granted for the National Sovereignty Day holiday. According to the Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME), 1.694 million tourists traveled across the country, a 21% increase compared to the same holiday in 2024. Total spending reached 355,789 million pesos, a 34% real increase from the 196,233 million pesos spent in 2024. Average spending per tourist was 91,317 pesos, and the average stay was 2.3 nights, 15% longer than in 2024. The most chosen destinations were Mar del Plata, Córdoba, Puerto Iguazú, Mendoza, and the thermal cities of Entre Ríos. Other highlighted destinations included Bariloche, Salta, Tucumán, and the mountainous corridors of Buenos Aires. Minister of Tourism and Environment Daniel Scioli reported that certain resorts were at full capacity: Pinamar at 94% and Cariló at 98%. The secretary of Communication and Media, Javier Lanari, also stated that "all main tourist destinations" achieved occupancy levels "between 80% and 100%". "The impact of these holidays was significant not only for the number of people mobilized but also for its stimulating effect on regional economies, benefiting thousands of SMEs linked to the tourist activity," highlighted CAME's leader, Ricardo Diab. In total, for all long weekends, 11,964,940 tourists traveled through the country, with expenditures totaling $2,722,208 million.

During a four-day weekend in Argentina, tourist numbers rose by 21% and spending increased by 34%. Popular destinations included Mar del Plata, Córdoba, and Mendoza.
