Argentina's Ministry of Security has declared a state of emergency due to flooding in Buenos Aires Province. Minister Patricia Bullrich visited affected areas and met with local authorities and producers. The government is allocating 1.9 billion pesos in aid and opening a special credit line to support the affected agricultural sector.

Argentina's Ministry of Security has declared a state of emergency due to flooding in Buenos Aires Province. Minister Patricia Bullrich visited the affected rural areas, meeting with local authorities, producers, and federal forces. Assistance operations, rural road rehabilitation, and economic support measures have been implemented. In the short term, the Argentine Army, National Vialidad, and the Emergency Agency are providing machinery. The government will allocate 1.9 billion pesos directly to affected municipalities. A special credit line has been opened at the National Bank, and payments have been postponed. Bullrich stated: "We discussed short-term issues like road repairs and long-term ones, which will be solved by the great Salado project, which will channel the water." She also noted that the national government began Stage 4 of the Salado basin project in September 2025.
