CyberMonday 2025 in Argentina is an opportunity to assist families in their purchasing decisions and contribute to the recovery of consumption, highlighted Hernán Marino, CEO of APER, a company that develops marketplaces.
Those who choose to pay with MODO through the banking app during CyberMonday can access up to a 20% rebate and up to 18 interest-free installments in categories such as electronics, home, apparel, and perfumery. The promotion includes brands like Frávega, Arredo, FarmaPlus, Almundo, Sporting, and others.
The term "CyberMonday Argentina 2025" was one of the most searched for in October, especially after the electoral uncertainty dissipated this week: 19% searched for travel, and 40% inquired about gifts for family and friends, considering the year-end proximity.
One in two consumers will use the Google Search to inform themselves before the event, which will take place from November 3rd to 5th. The anticipation for travel deals is three months, while for Beauty and personal care (22%), Fashion (21%), Electronics (19%), and Home appliances (18%), research is concentrated between one and four weeks before.
The search interest during October 2025 reflects this prior planning with terms like "Microwave", "King Size Bed", "Laptops", "Smart TV", "Boots", "Kitchen", "Armchairs", "Washing Machines", and "Playstation", which showed a notable growth.
In a particularly dynamic year for Argentine e-commerce, 7% of the receipts issued during 2025 were in dollars, according to Lorena Comino, founder and CEO of Facturante. This figure gives a relevant signal: more companies in the sector are operating with foreign currency billing, reflecting both a diversification of clients and a foreign exchange environment that encourages transactions in strong currency.
A Great Opportunity for Billing
In this scenario, CyberMonday 2025 presents a great opportunity to capitalize on that trend, as it is a peak moment for billing and to solidify business models that work in both pesos and dollars. For local e-commerce companies, expectations are already aligned: according to data from the Argentine Chamber of E-commerce (CACE), during the three-day edition, sales can multiply between three and five times the usual sales.
This "multiplier" requires robust logistical, commercial, and operational preparation: stock, shipments, payments, customer service. For many businesses, especially SMEs that participate strongly, this edition represents not only a billing peak but also a digital showcase to gain new customers and retain them after the campaign.
Deal Hunting
According to a study conducted by Ipsos for Google, 90% of consumers in Argentina are willing to take advantage of offers, and among them, 50% have already decided what they will buy, 30% will wait for the promotions, and only 10% have no plans. Clothing, accessories, toys, and travel lead the interest among Gen Z, Millennials, and Gen X. Gen Z and X prefer clothing (54% and 40% respectively), while Millennials lean towards footwear (44%). Gen Z also plans to increase its spending on groceries (54%).
Spending the Same or More
In general, 53% of those who have already decided plan to spend the same or more than in last year's edition. Discounts remain the key factor to "add to cart", after evaluating attributes such as quality and the possibility of free shipping. That 90% have shown a willingness to switch brands speaks clearly to the flexibility with which this marathon of online discounts is approached.
On the challenge for brands, the Commercial Director for Retail Industry at Google Argentina, Evangelina Suárez, pointed out: "In such a planned purchase ecosystem, early visibility and value proposition are decisive". She highlighted the importance of investing in presence on different platforms, especially YouTube, which is the main channel for Gen Z to discover new brands or products.
A More Demanding Profile
Argentine consumers exhibit a more demanding and meticulous profile than in previous editions. The online purchase process is characterized by prior research, comparison, and planning before the final decision.
Prior research is fundamental: 80% of buyers consulted information online before making purchases in physical stores during 2024, and 61% used their mobile phone to do so. Furthermore, searches with six or more words grew four times more than short queries, reflecting the demand for specific and personalized answers.
"CyberMonday continues to consolidate as a key date for Argentines, who buy in a more planned way every year," highlighted the executive. She added that "this year's data confirms it: many already know what they want and use the event to make their most important year-end purchases".
E-commerce
According to the latest results presentation from the CACE (*) Argentine Chamber of E-commerce 2025 MID TERM Study, the following data stand out:

Regarding payment methods, while credit cards continue to lead as a payment method, transfers from electronic wallets are growing. Regarding installments, 9 out of 10 companies carry out financing in installments, and the vast majority of them did so by financing in 6 installments or less.
Logistics: Home delivery was the most requested (52%), pickup at a point (42%).
Financing Plans
The main bank stores will participate with exclusive promotions that include interest-free installment financing and special discounts, on selected products. These proposals, available in a wide variety of categories, arrive in a context where retail consumption seeks to recover dynamism after several months of moderate demand.
Among the most highlighted actions, Tienda Galicia will offer 18 interest-free installments throughout the week, ICBC Mall will also have 18 interest-free installments on selected products. Tienda Clic offers up to 15 interest-free installments also for customers who make their payments with Modo. On the other hand, SuperMovilidad, the online store to buy new and used cars, adds to its usual benefits 6 bonified gasoline tanks for those who operate through this platform.
"The bank stores have consolidated as a channel of reference for consumers, offering trust, convenience, and tangible benefits."
