The governor of the province of Chaco, Leandro Zdero, announced a tax reduction for the region, calling the measure a "historic day." The tax cut includes gross income and the general rate, with a progressive reduction of rates until the year 2026. Zdero emphasized the importance of changing the tax structure to boost the growth of the private sector and generate employment and wealth in the province.
In a press conference, the governor stated that it is essential to establish a state policy that promotes the development of productive, industrial, commercial, and service sectors. The tax reduction project includes benefits for different economic areas and must be approved by the provincial Chamber of Deputies.
Among the measures announced is the reduction of the rate for the primary and wholesale sectors, as well as the extension of Law 4003-F, which exempts payment of taxes for new taxpayers for one year. The exemption of employer contributions for public health funds is also extended to private companies, in addition to reductions and tax incentives for insurance producers, rental contracts, and primary producers of up to 1,000 hectares.
Zdero expressed the intention to promote a province where the state does not hinder those who wish to invest in all sectors of the productive chain. The measure aims to support economic growth and sustainable development in Chaco, with the vision of fostering job creation and wealth in the region.
