The Collection Agency of the Province of Buenos Aires (ARBA) has reported that payment of the Motor Vehicle Tax corresponding to the annual balance or the first installment of the year has already been activated on the agency's website. Those who choose to pay the total amount for the year can benefit from discounts of up to 15%. The deadline to access this benefit is Wednesday, March 26, and it is available for the 2 million vehicles registered in the Province.
To facilitate the payment process, ARBA will soon send electronic bills to registered emails, providing a fast and secure alternative for making the payment. In addition, those who do not have debt with the agency and settle the annual balance in a single payment will receive a 15% discount. Those who choose to pay in installments and are enrolled in automatic debit can access a discount of up to 10%.
ARBA has indicated that taxpayers who have tax debts and wish to access the discounts must settle them in full or through a payment plan up to five business days before the due date.
Regarding payment methods, to pay the Motor Vehicle Tax, one can check the debt and pay with a credit or debit card at www.arba.gov.ar, generate the electronic payment code to do so at authorized ATMs, use digital payment with Cuenta DNI by scanning the QR code that will be received by email, or go to authorized banking entities or Provincia Net Pagos collection centers.
