Salary Increase for Building Workers in Argentina

The Argentine Federation of Workers of Rental and Horizontal Buildings (FATERYH) has recently announced new salary increases for building managers, which will directly impact the fees that owners and tenants will have to pay. This salary increase will affect workers governed by collective agreements 589/10 and 590/10, establishing new salary scales starting in March 2025.

As part of this agreement, a 1.1% increase on February salaries has been established, as well as the introduction of a monthly additional payment of $50,000 that will be paid in March, April, and May. Furthermore, the values of bonuses, waste collection, and replacement shifts have been updated.

From the union, they have emphasized the importance of guaranteeing decent working conditions, job stability, and defending the purchasing power of salaries in a challenging economic context. They stress their commitment to continue advancing for the benefit of building workers as a large labor family.

With this salary increase, it is expected that the fees will begin to reflect the impact in the coming weeks, with the corresponding billing in the fourth month of the year. It is important to consider these changes for proper financial planning for both owners and tenants.
