During the month of February, sales of construction materials show a slight improvement, which has generated positive expectations for potential growth in the sector. According to statements from representatives of an organization, this trend is expected to continue in the near future.

The index that monitors the evolution of volumes sold to the private sector encompasses a variety of products, such as ceramic bricks, Portland cement, lime, long steels, aluminum carpentry, among others. This improvement in sales coincides with the forecasts of a report prepared by INDEC, which had already anticipated a recovery in the construction sector.

According to a private indicator, the sale of construction supplies experienced an increase of 4% in year-over-year terms and a rise of 6.9% compared to the previous month. Additionally, the cumulative data for January and February 2025 closed with an increase of 1.60% compared to the same period of the previous year, according to data provided by the Construya Index.
