The company KIP Protocol issued a statement to clarify its position regarding the $Libra token project, asserting that they did not gain any benefit from its launch. In the statement, the company stated that it had no participation in the initiative or in the Project Viva La Libertad, and that they also did not create or support the related website.
Moreover, they denied having any relationship with President Javier Milei and rejected having received tokens, payments, or any compensation for the project. The company emphasized that they were not involved in the launch of Libra, which, according to them, was initiated and managed by Hayden Davis / Kelsier without their involvement.
KIP Protocol explained that their only connection to the project was through an invitation from Mauricio Novelli to collaborate on a funding initiative for Argentine SMEs. They clarified that their support for the project was based on trust in the broader goals of the initiative and on the invitation received from Novelli.
The company highlighted its commitment to transparency and integrity, expressing its willingness to collaborate with the authorities to clarify any misunderstandings and to undertake legal action to protect its reputation against unfounded accusations. They also admitted to having posted on social media in support of the project but clarified that they did so at Novelli's request and that their participation was limited to that scope.
