
The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) has confirmed a 2.2% increase for retirees and pensioners, who will also receive an extraordinary bonus of $70,000 in March. This bonus was specifically announced for those who receive the minimum pension, and it will be provided proportionally until reaching the sum equivalent to the minimum pension plus the bonus.
In this way, no ANSES retiree will receive less than $349,094.40 in March 2025. In addition to this bonus for retirees and pensioners, increases for other benefits have been announced. For example, the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) will reach $223,275.52.
Regarding the payment schedule for retirees and pensioners in March 2025, specific dates have been established according to the last number of the ID. Those who do not exceed the minimum pension will have payment dates between March 12 and March 20, depending on the final number of their document. As for those who exceed the minimum pension, they will be paid between March 21 and March 28 following the same methodology.
ANSES has communicated that the $70,000 bonus will reach various groups, including retirees and pensioners of the Integrated Argentine Pension System (SIPA), holders of Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC), and holders of the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM). Along with this bonus, beneficiaries will receive a 2.2% increase in their benefits corresponding to the month of March.
