The Municipality of La Matanza reported that ASAP has awarded it a score of 100 out of 100 in its latest survey, highlighting a high level of fiscal responsibility and a 'correct' administration of public resources, compared to the 135 municipalities in the province. According to the Argentine News Agency, the new distinction ratifies a sustained policy of 'fiscal transparency' 'quarter after quarter,' and places the district within the group of municipalities with 'High Compliance' in terms of budget execution and public information dissemination. The report, as reported, evaluates indicators linked to the economic and financial situation, budget execution, expenditures by purpose and function, and municipal public debt, among other parameters that measure the quality of fiscal administration. In this sense, the Municipality emphasized that the evaluation is based on the availability of data published online with 'clear and accessible' access, which enables the community to monitor the use of public funds at the different stages of the budgetary process. From ASAP, according to the official communication, they especially highlighted the analysis of expenditures by purpose and function, considering that it allows understanding the destination of municipal spending in relation to the services provided and, at the same time, identifying the objectives and priorities of each budgetary policy. The Commune stated that the district consolidates its performance in fiscal transparency under the management of Mayor Fernando Espinoza, and affirmed that this line of work seeks to guarantee a 'responsible' administration of resources. Within this framework, the Municipality linked fiscal compliance with the capacity to maintain essential services such as education, health, security, and public works, and assured that the objective is for the contributions of taxpayers to translate into concrete improvements for the community.
