Federal prosecutor Eduardo Taiano is investigating the creation and launch of the cryptocurrency $LIBRA to determine the circumstances of its development and the possible involvement of those implicated, including President Javier Milei. The file examines possible crimes such as abuse of authority, fraud, influence peddling, and bribery, and mentions Hayden Mark Davis, Julian Peh, Mauricio Gaspar Novelli, Manuel Terrones Godoy, and Sergio Daniel Morales.

Following the ratification of the complaints in Criminal and Correctional Court No. 1, Judge MarĂ­a Romilda Servini has delegated the case to National Prosecutor's Office in Criminal and Correctional Court No. 3, as provided in Article 196 of the National Code of Criminal Procedure. In response to the urgency of the case, the intervention of the Specialized Unit for Cybercrime of the Public Prosecutor's Office has been expanded to preserve and recover key evidence.
