Among the companies that stand out for their increases are Transportadora de Gas del Sur (+9.6%), Grupo Financiero Galicia (+9.2%), Loma Negra (+9.2%), Edenor (+8.2%), and Telecom (+8.2%).
As operations resume on Wall Street after the holiday, Argentine stocks are mainly up, led by Ternium, which rises by 2.6%, followed by Transportadora de Gas del Sur (+2.4%) and Banco Macro (+2.1%). On the other hand, declines are observed in companies such as Cresud (-2.6%), Loma Negra (-2.4%), and Banco Supervielle (-1.3%).
According to market operators, it is predicted that the scandal related to the $LIBRA token will not have significant long-term repercussions, as a political trial is considered unlikely.
Regarding dollar-denominated bonds, despite having registered initial drops, they mostly show increases now, with a slight decline of the Global 2046 (-0.1%). Increases of up to 0.8% are notable in the Bonar 2029 and Bonar 2041, followed by the Global 2035 and Bonar 2038 (-0.7%).
The country risk increases by 24 units to reach 699 basis points, according to J.P. Morgan's measurement, due to the magnitude of the declines in premarket.
